The Orcas Island Camera Club is a friendly local group of creative photographers who live on Orcas Island in Northwest Washington. The members cover all levels of experience, from novice to professional. The club is dedicated to providing an open forum for sharing images, knowledge and techniques. Many of our meetings have a photographic theme so members can compare their interpretations of the theme. We have access to a digital projector as well as a 35mm slide projector; members are invited to bring prints, slides, or digital images to meetings to share with others. We also sponsor local photography workshops and field trips hosted by our own photographers and have a "buddy system" where more experienced photographers can help those who are new to different aspects of photography.

Our club meets monthly on the first Tuesday of each month (unless it conflicts with a holiday). We meet at the Lundeen Room in the Orcas Island Senior Center, Eastsound WA 98245, starting at 7PM. Meetings usually start with a 30-minute social chat and print viewing session, followed by speakers, sharing images and techniques. We invite you to attend one of our meetings and learn more about what's happening photographically on Orcas Island!
